the small spanish village of hinojosa in guadalajara, spain hosted the world’s biggest chess match played out with tractors on saturday. "thanks to this event we have located hinojosa on the world map," said organiser carlos malo.
drone footage from the guadalajaran countryside showed the tractors arranged like chess pieces on a field with a chequered chess board mowed into it. "some people call me crazy" admitted malo. an assistant to the event said it had been great to "see some joy and good environment" in the area as a result of the event.
